At Duxbury Dory Co. we build boats that are stable, rugged and sound. Our hulls have a proven history and a long legacy in the commercial industry of the Northeast. This is the foundation on which we build boats for families, sportsman and commercial mariners.
The "Duxbury Dory 16" is a fiberglass, lapstrake dory with a blue collar legacy and a white collar finish. We have configured our hull to achieve maximum useable space. Standard on all models are three (3) sizeable storage areas (1 bow, 2 stern). Our center console model has even more storage space. Seating is launch style along port and starboard sides. The platform area above the bow storage is large enough to be used as a seat, casting platform or table for your picnic items.
Available as a tiller or center console model with a growing list of options and custom abilities. The "Duxbury Dory" is graceful, beamy and strong. Whether fishing with friends, enjoying watersports with the children or a romantic cruise with your sweetheart, the "Duxbury Dory" will deliver you safely and provide generations of loyal service.
Our hulls have a "no wood" construction and come with a 2 year hull warranty.
